Shift allocation - On site
Located directly below the Shift template selector and directly above the calendar date columns, the Shift allocation - On site screen gives you the ability to easily plan and take action on posted shifts. The same actions can be taken by drilling into individual tiles, however, you can complete these tasks in batch mode—saving both time and effort.

Using the On site screen, you can CREATE, SHARE, ALLOCATE, or PUBLISH shifts specific to any date. You can limit the menu options based on the shift template selected as shown above (e.g., Van driver) or expand your options by including the workers linked to that shift template as shown below. (Click All to the left of the Worker’s name field—notice that the linked workers are now colour-coded in yellow.)

By adding the linked workers to your display, you also activate the action buttons that give you the ability to work with worker records in batch mode rather than a one-by-one basis. The batch action buttons will display at the bottom of your screen. They display the total number of workers selected in addition to the Batch allocate, Copy planned shifts, Batch edit shifts, and Publish shifts — notice that the label in the above bar has changed from the # of shifts to Create (# of selected workers).
