How to Delete or Archive a Worker in JoinedUp
Managing worker profiles in JoinedUp is an important part of maintaining accurate records and complying with data governance standards.
This guide explains how clients can request the removal of a worker’s profile, either by archiving or deleting it.
What is the Difference Between Archiving and Deleting?

Archiving a Worker: The worker’s profile remains in JoinedUp but is inactive. This allows you to restore the profile later if needed through a formal unarchiving request.

Deleting a Worker: The worker’s profile and all associated records are permanently removed from JoinedUp within 30 days.
This action is irreversible, and deleted data will no longer appear in reports.
1) Who Can Make a Request?
Only clients of JoinedUp who an approved Jira admin user are can request to delete or archive a worker. Requests from suppliers who are contracted to an end-hirer must go through the End-Hirer, who is the data controller. The End-Hirer’s Jira admin should then raise the request.

2) How to Submit a Request

Log in to the JoinedUp Admin Users Portal

Select General Queries and Admin.

Choose BAU Task.

Complete all mandatory fields and select Standard BAU request: Remove worker profiles.

Click Send.
Your request will be handled by our Level 2 support team.
3) Provide Required Details
To process your request quickly, please include the following for each worker:

JoinedUp ID
-
First Name
-
Last Name
-
Specify whether you want the profile archived or deleted.
4) Confirmation and Processing
Once your request is approved:

The action will be completed within 30 days.

You will receive confirmation via Jira once the worker’s profile has been successfully archived or deleted.
