Site Locks
This guide explains the Site Locks screen for end-hirer (client) users. It covers how the feature currently works and what changes with the refreshed version.
The update is a visual and UX improvement only—all locking rules and functionality remain unchanged.
Overview
The Site Locks screen lets an end-hirer lock a site’s shifts once all timesheets have been submitted by the supplier and approved by the client. Locking a site finalizes shift data for invoicing and reporting.
Before a site can be locked:
-
All shifts must be submitted by the supplier.
-
All shifts must be approved by you the end-hirer.
-
All shifts must have start and stop times entered — sites with unapproved shifts or missing times cannot be locked.

This is how the Site Locks screen works today.
Step-by-step: locking a site
-

-
You can filter the Site locks screen on the left hand side. Sites with unapproved shifts or shifts missing start/stop times cannot be locked. The shifts will need to be approved and start/stop times entered in order to lock a site.
-
Once all shifts are approved, the site is Ready to lock.
Once a site is locked you have 15 minutes to make any immediate changes, after that the site is locked permanently and any other changes should be a historic adjustment.
-
Once a site has been locked, you can download the site lock report and adjustment report.

Step-by-step: Locking a Site (New Screen)
The steps themselves are the same as today — only the look and feel of the screen changes:
-
Navigate to the Site Locks screen through the Finance tab (same navigation path).
-
Use the filter panel to narrow down the list of sites (restyled, same functionality).
-
Review the site list — sites still show as not ready if shifts are unapproved or missing start/stop times.
-
Approve any outstanding shifts and enter missing start/stop times as needed.
-
Once all shifts are approved, the site is marked Ready to lock.
-
Select the site and lock it.
-
After locking the site, click the 3 dots menu next to the Unlock button to download the Site Lock Report and Adjustment Report.
The 15-minute post-lock change window and the requirement to use historic adjustments after that period remain unchanged in the new screen. Additionally, a timer is now visible once the site is locked.
